My daughter is nine years old and wants to stay up well past ten pm every night. The only problem is how she has to wake up at six am with me, as I have to get ready to go to work. We leave the house around seven am and I drive her to school. She is always so tired and grumpy if she stays up past ten pm. And, she knows this too. But, she still refuses to go to sleep early. I need some ways to help her calm down so she can get enough rest on school nights.
