When you walk into the bathroom and if you had to crinkle your nose because of the faint smell of sewage coming from somewhere, it's very hard. Especially, if it is during the pregnancy period, then it is unbearable. My family and my sisters family are staying together in a single house. Her hubby is an IT professional. So every day he goes to the office in the morning and reaches back only in the late night. Since my hubby is a businessman, he is available most of the time at home in case of emergency.

My sister is carrying now. Since the doctor recommended bed rest during the starting period of pregnancy, she resigned her job. Now she is at home. Last day, she said that a rotten smell is coming from her bathroom. Because of this strong smell, she is not able to use the bathroom. Any idea of what would be causing this lingering odor? Should I approach plumbing drain services? I guess the sewer smell is because of the clogged drains. Because of the smell of the sewer gas, she is now suffering from nausea and dizziness. I doubt whether it will affect the baby or not!

Hello there deary. How are you doing? I hope that everything is fine at your end. I would love to hear that what I said is true.... Well your problem is a very unpleasant one to say the least. Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this. Your family seems to be very supportive. That is super amazing. It is very important that one has people who support them around themselves.

Have you tried calling a plumber? Maybe there is some break of sorts... Or the tubes are stuck and that is causing the stink. When you are pregnant you smell more than the usual person. I guess this can also be your own imagination. Just a little paranoia can get things running you know. I wish that you get rid of this issue as soon as possible. God bless you dear.

Hello, everyone.I am 12 weeks pregnant and have been having an odor with a slightly goldenish color discharge since around 4 weeks. I asked my nurse-midwife about it and after she checked me out, she said that the smell is from my hormones and the color is from some of the cells that line the outer part of the cervix shedding, which is normal. This is my 2nd pregnancy and I didn't experience this at all with the first. every pregnancy is different. I shower more often, use pantie liners and use a baby wipe every time.It has helped tremendously.
