While I admire moms who can jog around the block, I'm not one of them. My weight issues have hindered me from being able to jog for some time. Also, I'm struggling with hypertension daily and worried about the impact that jogging would have on my heart. I've begun walking daily to relieve stress and it's doing wonders to help me stay focused and stay calm even during the most stressful situation.

going great dear. At least you started and that’s the best thing to do. Also bear in mind that walking is more beneficial than jogging since you lose weight quickly when you jog but at the same you gain as much once you get back to your normal routine. But with walking you may lose late but you will not gain sooner than anything. So just keep doing what you are doing and also try to inculcate changes in your diet. I would recommend green tea and lots of salads and cucumbers specially. And have citrus fruits like oranges and lemon and also try apple cider vinegar as it boosts the immunity. I am sure you will just do fine and you will be able to get your desired weight soon.

Both walking and jogging are good for health.

Hello, Lorraine! Jogging and walking can help you burn calories. Likewise, it will also help you in lowering you blood pressure. If you are worried about your heart, I think there will be no wrong to jog unless you have heart disease.
