Hi! I’m 37 and my hubby is 44. We have been TTC for three years until I contacted my gyny. She asked me to do some tests (several hormone and ultrasound checks). The AMH test has revealed that my ovaries don’t contain many oocytes. The result of FSH test was rather high. My gyny says that I may respond quite badly to IVF stimulation and recommends DE IVF. Do really need this to get pregnant?

hi, i love your hopeful attitude and that you are willing to take the step. if its the option that you have been given i think you should go for it. remember even if the egg wont be yours remember the child will still grow inside you and you will be one . there is a clinic based in Ukraine you can email them and ask for a second opinion. and i wish you all the best in your journey to motherhood . there is still hope

hello , use of a donor is not a bad thing. DE IVF done properly and in a good clinic then its the procedure that you need. so go for it. all the best

Hi, OP. Like you, I was diagnosed with DOR in my early thirties. I visited several REs. Both of them told me that I still have chances to conceive. We spent TTC for nearly 5 years until I was 37. We tried several cycles with my eggs and, finally, passed to DE IVF. I managed to conceive after the first round. Now, I’m 40 and I’m already a mum.

Using a donor is not as bad as it sounds. You can contact a good clinic for a new opinion. Perhaps there is another hope for you out there. Many women manage to be mothers with an egg donor. It may be difficult to accept at first, but as soon as you feel it growing inside you, everything will vanish. In Ukraine there is a clinic that has very good statistics with the donors. You can contact them to request information and opinions.
