We recently bought a new house in Toronto and will move soon to our new house. I was thinking to offer a part of our old home on a short-term rental basis. But We don't know much about it. What are the necessary things to be considered while offering rental services? Is it necessary to have rental insurance? We've contacted an insurance broker Toronto, and they said it is necessary to have rental insurance if we are planning to offer rental service. What is your opinion about it?
