Hi, my son is a football player on his school team. He is more interested in playing than in studies. I used to scold him for this. But my hubby told me that we don't need to compel him, let him do whatever he likes. Now I am supporting him for this. Also, I am strict to his studies. For the past few months, his ankle sprained frequently. We have consulted a doctor. He took an x-ray to make sure no bones are broken. Then he gave medicines for reducing inflammation and pain and told that it is the grade1 sprain and he suggested some tips for this. We correctly followed his instructions. But it is happening repeatedly. Last day, his coach told us to consult a clinic in Burlington having sports injury treatment. They will provide the necessary instructions which help to prevent future injuries. Most of his students are consulting there. So we are planning to take an appointment there. We are concerned about his future. Will this limit his future in football? Is this condition completely treatable? Also, I would like to know whether this treatment will get any insurance coverage. Help me with your replies.

Hello there dear! I think your hubby is right. You were making a huge mistake by depraving him from what he loves. If he doesn't like studies but chooses sports, so be it... I think forcing people to study is stupid and wrong.. Like that all one will achieve is a job he hates but needs to survive. That is all, while with sports he might have a very bright future.

Now to the issue you have... Your insurance won't cover the whole recovery. Your son might need to take rehabilitation treatment. That is usually never covered by any insurance in the world. I do believe that he will recover completely. This is a somewhat common injury. Sportsmen get it all the time. Hopefully everything will be just fine. I will be preying for you!
