Hi! I am Paige. I have one beautiful daughter. After that something went wrong. Me and my husband are trying to conceive for almost 3 years. I don't know what happened. I am worried that it's have to something with my overweight. My period is in mess. I don't know anymore how many days does my cycle takes. I am afraid that I will not have that opportunity to have my second child. I am now in age when it's already risky to think about pregnancy. If I can't conceive naturaly do I have a chance with other methods? I am really worried about my overweight. If I try with other methds I am scared hat my weight will be a problem. I want to lose weight but it's hard. I am trying with diet and exercise but it seems to me that nothing is working.

I emphatize with you. I hope you will find solution to your problems. It's hard to deal with it. You must think on your family don't let this problem puts you in depresion. You daughter will be your strength. I know that overweight can be a problem when you try to conceive. I am not sure can you go try with other methods and what are your chances. I believe that it depends how many kilograms you have to lose. Off course that it would be great to lose weight. This would be great for your health. If you can't lose weight right now don't worry. Keep on trying. If you try hard I believe you must have some results in future. You are probably in risky age. Don't worry, if you start immediately you still have a chance to make things better.

It is more difficult to achieve a pregnancy when you are overweight. Obviously if you’re already infertile you want to make sure you do everything to increase your chances. Certainly, obesity has a clear impact on the success rates. It's not the most important factor but have a big impact on fertility. Did you try to ask some specialist about your condition? Probably it's the best to consult with doctors before you make any conclusions. Maybe your weight haven't got any impact on you fertility. However, try to reduce your weight. Try to ask profesional help. Sometimes kilograms will not let you go no matter what you do. Don't wait any longer. Act as fast you can to avoid another problems. First found out why you can't conceive. Then you will fight with that. Go step by step.

If you haven't got a chance to conceive naturally you may ask doctor do you have a chance with ivf. It’s a fact that obese women often have a more difficult time undergoing successful in vitro fertilization. Obese woman need a different dose of in vitro fertilization medication than women of normal weight, in order to successfully harvest their eggs for the procedure. Obese women are less likely to have successul IVF from their own eggs and not donor eggs. This means that obese women can either attempt to lose weight, or else search for the possibility of receiving donor eggs. When it comes to IVF with donor eggs, obese women apparently have normal success rates. I know that it is hard to lose weight. Keep on trying. I agree that you need to ask specialst how your condition impact on your fertility.

Hello there deary. I hope you are doing well. I am sorry to hear that you are going through this. It is really sad to see people battle infertility! However this is what life is like. Most of the time it is unfair and there is nothing we can do about it. If you may, try to reduce stress as much as you can. There won't come any good out of it. Actuary stress is known to cause infertility even in couples that are fertile. Also obesity is known for causing infertility, usually it is in regards to hormones. Go talk to a specialist and things should be fine. I sincerely hope that at least... Please update us on what happenes next with you. Iw old love to hear again from you desr. God bless you and your family!

Hi Paige. Sorry to hear that. You just might be right. Weight can cause problems. They can lead to hormonal imbalances. This can lead to irregular cycles. I know it isn't easy to lose weight. However, think about how badly you want to conceive. That might motivate you. Adopt a healthy diet plan. The key here isn't to starve yourelf. Eat enough to keep yourself healthy. However, cut down on the fattening foods. Couple this up with exercise. Green tea is supposed to work well too.Drink lots of that. Apart from helping with weight, it will also help ceanse your body. Let me know if you want more information. Good luck!

If you can't lose weight by yourself, you should ask for help. There are specialist that can help you. Don't be afraid ask for help. You are not alone in this condition. If you still can't get pregnant after you lose weight, don't lose hope. You still have other options. There are special clinics for infertility. I had a big issue and I went in clinic in Kiev. All my problems seems to be so hard that no one can help me. But I found my solution. I believe you will also.

It's not enough to lose weight. You have to maintain healthy weight. That is why you need to learn how you can do it. I wish you luck dear.

Overweight women conceive all the time. In my opinion it is not much of a problem unless you are obese. You should try to cut the weight though. Are you on BCP? I hear they help regulate periods? See an expert. Maybe there is still a chance for you to conceive naturally. If not, ART will help with that. If you go for ART I recommend BioTexCom in Kiev Ukraine. Baby dust to you

Hello dear! I'm sorry you have troubles with your ttc. Have you visited a doctor? I have a friend who is overweight. She was trying to lose weight for years, but no matter what she did her weight was just slightly moving down and then was turning back. Then she went to gynecologist and it turned out she has PCOS. Not only she had problems with her weight, but also her periods were a mess, her hair was falling, she had abnormal hair growth on her face and neck and also she had hormone imbalance. Plus she was gaining weight like crazy, even when she had healthy diet and did exercises. Now she's in treatment and the situation with her health is much better. I think you should definitely visit a specialist. I'd advise you not to waste time, because treatment can take some time. I'm not telling that you have some fertility issues for sure! But you have to do medical check to know the reason of everything which is going on with you. Don't be sad because there are still options which you can use if doctors say you can't conceive. You can use donor eggs or surrogacy, depending what your Dr will say about your health condition. There is adoption which can also help you to become a mother for a second time. Good luck to you, dear!

Some women, who are overweight or obese, experience hormonal imbalances. It can affect their menstrual cycles and prevent ovulation, making it harder to conceive. For instance, some overweight women have a condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). In women with PCOS, the ovaries don't produce enough of the hormones that stimulate the egg to mature and be released. Research has shown that being overweight can also make it tougher to have a baby through in vitro fertilization (IVF), possibly by affecting the ability of the embryo to implant in the uterus. The exact reason for this is unknown. The good news is shedding the extra pounds before you try to get pregnant can dramatically improve your odds of conceiving and of having a healthy pregnancy. Well, it turns out that weight and fertility are so intimately linked that these two goals might just as well become one. Studies have shown that losing as little as 5% of body weight can dramatically improve chances of pregnancy. And we’re not just talking about the female partner here – men can improve their fertility by losing weight too.
