Hey, I would like to share an incident that took place few days back. This is how my neighbor's daughter, who was just 5 years old was kidnapped. It was late in the evening. The kid was playing on the outdoors after she came back from school. Her mother was busy in the kitchen cooking snacks for the child. After the cooking, when she came out to give the food to the child, she didn't find the child anywhere. She searched for her everywhere in the house. At last, she filed a case in the police station for the child missing. Within 2 hours, the child was brought in front of her. Actually, the child was kidnapped by a group of people. Their prime motive might be to get money or for raping....Anyways hats off to the police department for their efficiency....must say that. After this incident, I have decided to install home security cameras. Because when the police came to the neighbor's house for investigation, the first thing they asked was for the CCTV footage. As they had outdoor cameras they were easily able to provide the video footage which helped the police to get the child easily. I think home security cameras are essential nowadays as the burglary and theft attempt is on a hike. Kidnaping rate has increased compared to the previous years. So always be careful.
Excellent piece of information. Cameras are important for this and other reasons. Sometime last year, my neighbor had them installed after suspecting that her nanny was mistreating her daughter. They came in handy. She did not tell the nanny that cameras had been installed. The following day immediately she left for work, the nanny woke the baby and threw her on the floor. Later in the day when she refused to finish her food she was badly battered. The nanny went to the extent of biting her. It was the most horrible clip that I have ever had to look at. On the bright side, the nanny is serving her jail term.
