When did your child learn to walk?

My daughter learned to walk about four days before her first birthday. Until then, she had been holding onto the edge of the couch and pulling herself along. She never really learned how to crawl, only stood up and inched around her crib. This was just her style. So when she actually took off by herself, no help, it was such an amazing sight. I grabbed our camcorder and started rolling. I still have that footage and it's so precious to me. :)

Hello, pretty mom. I’ve got a baby 3 years old. He started to walk when he was 10 months. I was worried that he wasn’t crawling. I asked my doctor and he told me, that most babies take their first steps sometime between 9 and 12. Don’t worry about your child.

Hello, mommies! My baby started to walk when she was still 11 months but of course with the assistance of mine. She started to walk by herself when she was almost 1 and a half years old.
