My son is twelve years old, so I guess you could call him a tween. Though I have only heard this label applied to pre-teen girls. He's already started being moody and sometimes aggressive and going through certain changes you would most usually associate with puberty, including increased growth. He's very tall for his age. Is this a sign of puberty?

    Hi Larkin:

Yes, this is absolute puberty signs. Your boy has started to grow and you must feel happy for that. Spare some time with him regularly. Try to watch his changes both physically and mentally. Generally, in this stage, both boys and girls do not desire on advice. So, do not crush him with advice though it is good for him. Deepened voice, muscle growth, hair growth in the armpit, acne, facial structure changes, and growth in the genital areas are the typical symptoms of puberty. Aggression will be more for some guys. This is because of hormonal changes. Make him active; engage him with some outdoor games; do not isolate him; Go for a family tour to cheer him. Share your teenage story and be friendly. I have an 18 years old boy which makes me advise you at the best.
