Hello good people, I am Marvis. I join the various women all over the world who are facing great difficulty having children of their own. By that statement I mean I have been facing fertility challenges. I am 40 years old today and been married for about 8 years now. These challenges have made me somewhat stronger and have given me reason to hope in other better things that could happen to a woman other than having a child. I say this because I am fast losing hope on having a child, let alone children of my own. I have taken several fertility pills, some of which have resulted in severe bleeding. Doctors have recommended I stopped taking those pills to avoid other complexities. They now recommend a gamete intra fallopian transfer. I don’t really know much about this and will like any lady or dr here that has an idea about it to please explain it better for me. Should I go for it? Will it end my troubles? Please I need your advice.

    MARVIS R.

Gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT) is similar to in vitro fertilization (IVF), but in this procedure fertilization happens naturally after your doctor places eggs and sperm directly inside one of your fallopian tubes. However, this treatment is not used nearly as often as IVF, accounting for less than 1 percent of assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures. If you are emotionally ready than you should go for it And IVF is also an option and I know a clinic in Kiev, Ukraine, That won't cost you much. It will help you in getting pregnant i personally have experienced it, they helped me in getting pregnant. Good luck

nor is it (GIFT) as successful as IVF... consider IVF even if you were not advised on it

GIFT looks more similar to natural conception, but if you guys tried the natural way and it was difficult to conceive then i think you should try IVF . pick a clinic that has had success in these kind of procedures like biotex i have read alot of positive remarks about it, try it

    Hi dear.
The GIFT is very similar to IVF. Here we try to make the sperm fertilize the ovule directly into the fallopian tube. This is done under general anesthesia. First it is stimulated to obtain ovules and extracted. Your husband on the other hand, takes his sperm. The best of both are chosen and not fertilized outside, as is done in IVF. On the contrary, both are inserted into the fallopian tubes, separated and waiting for the process of fertilization. After this you can have a daily medication until you detect a pregnancy. This is to regulate your hormonal level.
If you want to take this process, go ahead. There is a clinic in Ukraine that works with assisted reproduction procedures. You can contact them and ask about their costs and treatments. They have very affordable prices and an excellent reputation. Their good specialists and scientists can give you a successful IVF treatment.
    I wish you good luck.
    Xx

I think it would be better if you go to IVF. If you want it to be successful now, try IVF. Do not waste your time to an uncertain option.

I agree with people above... IVF would be the better choice. These things are really complex as you are finding out. Maybe give this more time and a second thought. Who knows what you might decide. Also takings some professional advice would be great. Your condition matter on choosing your treatement. Wish you easy my friend. God bless you!
