In our last house, we had hardwood floors and they were such a pain to clean. For that reason, I was delighted when we found a house that I loved with carpeting through out. Though since, I have learned what a pain taking care of carpets can be. My son has developed allergies as a result of dust mites living in the carpet. I don't have energy with my pregnancy to constantly vacuum so I'm always running the AC even in cool weather and have the HEPA filter on constantly. I don't like carpets now either.
