I'm really worried about my daughter as she has lately become obsessed with Minecraft. She has always liked this game but lately it's all she can think or talk about. I want her to have a more varied life including friends not just some cyber game. The game is safe however, it seems almost like a waste of time that she would want to spend a few hours a day playing this game. I need to know how to reach her to make her understand there is more to life than games.

    Hi,
Do not worry as your daughter will get over this on her own. Mine was mad after solitaire for a few years but now she is out of it and that too on her own. I did not do too much for that.

Hello there dear. How are you doing? I hope that this message will find you well. Sometimes teenagers are super hard to deal with. I can understand why you are concerned for you daughter. Staying all day inside playing videogames can't be right... Well studies have shown that usually this leads to the children being less social. That is really bad if you think about it. However studies also show that videogames cna increase IQ and the general wit of your child. So Games might not be that bad after all. I think that you are overreacting a little here. Just give this thing a little time. Maybe after a while it will pass on its own. Lets hope for the best, shall we? God bless you love. Wish you all the best in the world.

    Hi,
That is scary. An obsession is always an indicator of deeper psychological problems. How about you try to find out hat she is trying to run away from? What is she avoiding thinking about? I hope she is not being bullied at school. Try to get her to work on her social life. It is important at this stage. I hope that all is/will be well
